This is important. Gases are unintentional, dangerous to humans and animals at the time of leaks and malfunctions in appliances, cylinders or pipes.
The 3Gas+ alarm is the latest and most innovative alarm, suitable for detecting both falling and rising gases due to its dual sensor.
The 3Gas+ alarm detects all of the following gases:
- LPG (both butane/propane) in the event of an accidental leak from an appliance, cylinder or pipe.
- Carbon monoxide (CO) - can be produced by a gas powered appliance that is not properly ventilated or does not have sufficient fresh air supply for the combustion process.
- Stunning gases such as ether - used in robberies to render victims unconscious.
The function of the sensor is checked every time it is put into operation, the automatic calibration tests every 40 seconds whether the setting is still correct and changes it if necessary.
Light and sound signals ensure that the user is always safe in operation.
If the 3Gas+ alarm detects a gas concentration in the ambient air, the pre-alarm is triggered for 40 seconds.
If the gas concentration remains the same or increases during the pre-alarm, the alarm is triggered with a continuous alarm tone and the red LED remains lit.
When the gas concentration has disappeared after the pre-alarm, the 3Gas+ alarm returns to standby mode.
