The Futura SL is specially adapted to the female anatomy due to the shorter back, the narrower shoulder straps and the conically shaped hip fins and thus provides increased comfort on longer day and multi-day hikes. In addition, the new mesh of the Aircomfort back system provides maximum ventilation and thus reduces sweating by up to 25%. In addition, the large front opening provides easy access to and a good overview of the contents of the backpack.
The main material of the Futura series is made of bluesign-certified material.
For an optimal fit, the backpack should rest as completely as possible on the back. Only in this way the carrying weight is distributed evenly on the back. The Active-Comfort-Fit back system supports the carrying comfort with a dimensionally stable and padded construction. LESS SWEAT thanks to the all-round ventilation of the airy and comfortable mesh back system. The movable ActiveFit shoulder straps and ergonomic hip fins (with pull-forward adjustment) are also particularly comfortable. EASY ACCESS TO CLOTHES is provided by the large, additional access at the front, while also offering a good overview.
SL WOMEN'S FIT: This model is available as an SL version. The women's specificity of the SL back length is already evident in the back length: women on average do not have quite as long a back as men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore designed to be slightly shorter than the standard Deuter backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
