Material
600D PES:
Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick polyurethane (PU) coating, this tear-resistant and lightweight fabric is all-purpose. When it comes to keeping the tare weight of the backpack as low as possible for medium-duty use, this is the ideal choice. The "deuter-Super-Polytex BS" variant is produced according to the strict bluesign standard. Their equipment and stressability are thereby identical.

100D PA RIPSTOP:
An extremely lightweight polyamide fabric with a distinctive honeycomb structure. The 100 denier fabric is used for highly weight-reduced backpacks, the 210 denier version for biker backpacks. The reinforcing threads woven into the honeycomb structure increase tear resistance and thus bring stability to the thin textile. Polyurethane coated inside.

Pleasant ventilation

is guaranteed by the Airstripes system. Thanks to the small contact area of the back padding, the system allows high air circulation on the back. The automatic side compression and pull-forward adjustment fixes the backpack quickly and compactly.

Deuter Airstripes

3D AirMesh lined shoulder straps. Anatomically shaped, they guarantee comfortable range of motion. The chest strap further secures the fit.
Breathable mesh wings on the hip belt stabilize the load.
Two contoured layers of nubby foam with AirMesh lining and minimal back contact provide maximum air circulation.
Flexible aluminum stays within the foam profile can be bent to fit the back precisely. (Bike I, Superbike and Trans Alpine).

PFC Free
This Deuter product is free of per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. Deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health.

PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease repellent properties.

Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.
