Product description
Spontaneity, fun and comfort, whether for a family outing or travelling the world for several years, a Gordigear roof tent is the right choice. With a Gordigear roof tent, you can transform your car into a motorhome with unlimited possibilities.
Uncompromisingly optimised for quality and easy handling, the tent stowed on the car roof opens in just a few simple steps into a comfortable and spacious sleeping tent with a real mattress 140 cm / 165 cm or 180 cm wide (depending on the version) and 240 cm long.
The additional awning measuring approx. 240 x 235 cm / 240 x 260 cm or 240 x 275 cm (depending on the version) offers a comfortable and sheltered living space, especially in bad weather. Consisting of 4 walls and a zip-fastened floor, it is equipped for all eventualities with 2 large windows, a large entrance door and access to the vehicle through the rear wall.
The ladder with flat, barefoot-friendly steps is located in the awning and provides sheltered access to the bright, well-ventilated sleeping area.

We deliberately avoid weak points such as the processing of UV-sensitive surfaces made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or wood and concentrate entirely on comfort, weight reduction, durability and easy maintenance.

Our quality standards
Made from real canvas, our tents combine the breathability and feel of cotton with the technical advantages of polyester. The result is a modern, high-quality, durable, windproof but breathable high-tech material that makes the use of inner tents obsolete.
A ripstop weave increases the tear resistance of the material - a necessity for our large following in the world travel scene and a matter of course for us at Gordigear. We also make no compromises when it comes to the seams and rely on the German manufacturer and world market leader in this field, Amann. Additionally welded and double-stitched, our seams are even designed to withstand storms, which you would actually like to avoid when on holiday.
Our mattress sets standards with a thickness of 8 cm. This not only increases your sleeping comfort, but also shields your body from the cold and prevents condensation under the mattress by increasing insulation.
Our tent has two spacious entrances and two large windows as well as air conditioning vents. All openings can of course be closed separately with canvas and tropical insect netting.
All load-bearing parts, including the base plate, are made of aluminium or stainless steel.
The travel cover is made of thick "truck tarpaulin" with a zip to protect your tent from moisture and dust.
The colour is also based on decades of experience and feedback from thousands of satisfied customers. Not too light in colour to prevent premature soiling and not stand out as a foreign object in nature. Dark enough to achieve the necessary darkening in the tent even when travelling in the north. And no flashy colours to keep the attraction of insects to a minimum.
