Hindermann has developed the Lux Duo supplementary module to provide effective protection against cold draughts through the non-insulated engine compartment, wheel arches and footwell, even during winter holidays. This is a lower part that can be connected to the Hindermann Lux thermal window mat using a Velcro fastener. It is made of the same material. However, the insulation on this "lower part" is slightly thinner in order to save volume during the journey. In addition, there is a wind screen at the lower edge with integrated eyelets. This way the complete cab can be effectively protected from penetrating cold.
