Product description
The DSW-2000-Synchron, 12 V digital sine wave inverter reliably and precisely converts a 12 V DC voltage into a real 230 V sine wave AC voltage. This allows you to supply even sensitive consumers such as multimedia devices, coffee machines, hair dryers or chargers with power independently of the public power grid in the same way as at the domestic socket - whether in a commercial vehicle, motor home, camping or your fishing hut.
The synchronous version of the DSW-2000 is particularly suitable for operating powerful loads such as power tools or electronic heaters, as well as devices with high starting current such as pumps, compressors, refrigerators or air conditioners. Two DSW-2000 synchronous units can be connected together to form a powerful 4000 W system using a separately available connection cable.
This provides a continuous output power of 4000 W and a peak output power of 8000 W. Please note that each DSW-2000 synchronous requires its own set of connection cables in synchronous mode.

Input:
Parallel switchable: continuous power 4000 W - peak output power 8000 W
Especially with loads that require a high inrush current, the start does not always run smoothly. For this reason, all DSW inverters are designed to provide twice the continuous output power for short periods. Two DSW-2000 synchronous units can be connected together to form a powerful 4000 W system using a separately available connection cable.
As a result, a continuous output power of 4000 W and a peak output power of 8000 W are achieved. The two inverters can also be operated individually at their respective continuous power levels. Please note that each DSW-2000-Synchron requires its own set of connection cables to the battery in synchronous operation.
Microprocessor controlled electronics
A microprocessor forms the heart of the inverter. This control center monitors the most important parameters of the electronics, such as the input voltage and frequency. This ensures the constant stability of the output voltage.
Power start function for consumers with high inrush current
All DSW inverters have a power start function as standard. Inrush current: When the load is switched on, the inrush current can briefly reach 5 to 10 times the specified rated current. The power start function attempts to compensate for this phenomenon by carrying out up to 5 start attempts with maximum output power in quick succession.
E-approval: Suitable for permanent installation in vehicles
The Digital Sine Wave Inverters meet the legal requirements of the ECE regulation and thus have the E-certification. They are suitable for permanent installation in all vehicles with road approval, whether passenger cars, commercial vehicles or other vehicles with 12 V on-board voltage.
Galvanic isolation of input and output stage
Thanks to galvanic isolation, there is no electrically conductive connection between the input and output circuits. Therefore, even for commercial use with connection of only one 230 V consumer, no additional personal protection device (FI or DI switch) is required
required.
Extensive protective functions
IVT inverters provide protection against reverse polarity and overvoltage at the input and against short circuit and overload at the output. In case of overtemperature, an automatic shutdown is
Dynamic deep discharge protection
On the one hand, the dynamic deep discharge protection ensures that the battery is protected against deep discharge; on the other hand, it also allows loads with a high inrush current to be switched on, as the switch-off threshold is lowered for a short time. With the optionally available remote controls FB-04, FB-05 as well as the Webbox-LCD there is also the possibility to adjust the deep discharge protection individually.
A voltage between 9 V and 12 V (for 12 V models) or 18 V and 24 V (for 24 V models) can be selected. When the set limit is reached, the inverter first indicates this by flashing the input LED. Subsequently, the load output of the inverter switches off automatically. Only when the battery has reached the necessary restart voltage, the load output becomes active again.
Switchable power saving functions: Standby, Sleep
Standby function: If the inverter is not constantly needed, the switchable standby function makes it possible to reduce the inverter's own power consumption by approx. 90 %. To do this, simply activate DIP switch 2 (see picture) directly on the device. The device now checks approx. every 10 seconds whether a load is present. If the inverter detects a load above the standby level, it switches the 230 V AC output on and is thus back in normal operating mode
Sleep function: All inverters of the DSW series are additionally equipped with a sleep function. If the load output is not used for more than 10 minutes, the inverter automatically switches off and no longer draws current. Switching off and on the main switch directly on the device or in hard-to-reach places with the help of the remote switch FS-01, FS-02 will restart it. The sleep function can be activated or deactivated with the DIP switch 1 (see picture) directly on the device. This prevents unnecessary discharge of the battery.
Remote on/off switch: Available as accessory
Inverters are often installed in places that are difficult to access during later use. With the remote switches FS-01 (surface mount version) and FS-02 (flush mount version) all DSW inverters can be switched on and off at a suitable place. The remote switch replaces the main switch on the inverter.
Remote control: Individual control and monitoring of up to 4 devices
With the optional available remote controls FB-04 (wired), FB-05 (radio base) as well as the Webbox-LCD (operation in an existing computer network) there is the possibility to adjust the deep discharge protection individually. For the 12 V models, a voltage between 9 V and 12 V can be selected, and for the 24 V models, a voltage between 18 V and 24 V can be selected. The remote controls as well as the webbox LCD also offer the advantage of controlling and monitoring up to 4 devices (IVT DSW series inverters, MPPTplus+ series solar controllers) individually.
Safe output - 230 V grounded power outlet
Plug type: F, C All Digital Sine Wave Inverters are equipped as standard with a 230 V protective contact socket, suitable for plug types C (Euro plug) and F (Schuko plug).
Standard 5 V USB connection
All DSW inverters have a 5 V USB port for powering suitable external devices such as cell phones, tablets, cameras or navigation devices.
Power and temperature controlled fans
The power- and temperature-controlled fans minimize the inverter's noise by only being switched on when needed.
Light and powerful
DSW inverters are characterized by their light weight. Conventional inverters are often equipped with large ring transformers. As a result, they are heavy and unwieldy. In contrast, the microprocessor-controlled IVT inverters work digitally thanks to innovative technology: large, heavy components are eliminated and replaced by small and powerful components.
Solid metal housing
The valuable inner workings of the inverter are protected by a solid and stable metal housing. Thanks to the mounting rail, the inverter can be stably fixed anywhere.
Suitable connection and interconnection cables
IVT connection cables are safe and precisely matched to the respective inverter in terms of conductor cross-section and cable length. The high-quality workmanship of our connection cables guarantees a particularly long service life even under high loads. The cable set is already pre-assembled with matching ring lugs and wire end ferrules for connection to the battery and the inverter. The color-coded cable ends support fast and reverse polarity protected connection. All original IVT connection cables are supplied including fuse holder and 200 A fuse.
Note on safety for the commercial sector: If a multiple socket is connected and several 230 V consumers are used at the same time, the professional associations stipulate that each additional consumer must be protected by a separate RCD or DI circuit breaker.
