Product description
The robust SW-100 sine wave inverter reliably and precisely converts an input voltage of 12 V DC into a true sine wave AC voltage of 230 V/50 Hz. Independent of the public power grid, even highly sensitive consumers as well as loads with
increased starting current in a stable and absolutely trouble-free way.
Details
Input:
The microprocessor-controlled electronics provide fully automatic continuous monitoring and control of the most important operating parameters, such as input voltage and frequency. This ensures constant stability of the output voltage.
Continuous power 100 W - peak output power 200 W
Especially with consumers that require a high inrush current, the start does not always run smoothly. For this reason, the SW-100 is designed to provide twice the continuous output power for a short time.
To determine the appropriate inverter, you need your total power requirement. This is made up of the sum of the power (W or VA) of the individual consumers. We recommend that you allow for a power reserve of 30 - 40 % upwards.
Power start function for consumers with high inrush current
The SW inverter is also equipped with the power start function.
Advantage: Consumers with high inrush or starting current are controlled several times in quick succession with the maximum output power of the inverter, thus facilitating reliable starting of powerful consumers.
Flexible connection via 12 V car adapter
The SW-100 can be used flexibly in different vehicles. If required, the car adapter plug is simply plugged into the 12 V socket of the vehicle or boat, a fixed installation is not mandatory.
E-approval: Suitable for permanent installation in vehicles
The Sinus inverters meet the legal requirements of the ECE regulation and thus have the E-certification. They are suitable for permanent installation in all vehicles with road approval, whether passenger cars, commercial vehicles or other vehicles with 12 V on-board voltage.
Galvanic isolation of input and output stage
Thanks to galvanic isolation, there is no electrically conductive connection between the input and output circuits. Therefore, no additional personal protection device (FI or DI switch) is required even for commercial use when only one 230 V consumer is connected.
Extensive protection functions
SW series inverters operate absolutely reliably and safely even under the toughest conditions. They are protected against overload, short circuit and overheating as standard. An impending deep discharge of the battery is indicated by optical prewarning (LED) and prevented by automatic shutdown.
Safe output - 230 V Euro socket
Plug type: C A 230 V Euro socket (suitable for plug type C) is available for current draw.
Compact design, particularly light
Conventional inverters are often equipped with large ring transformers. As a result, they are heavy and unwieldy. In contrast, the microprocessor-controlled IVT inverters work digitally thanks to innovative technology: large, heavy components are eliminated and replaced by small and powerful components. The valuable inner workings of the inverter are protected by a sturdy housing. The SW series inverters can be used as a stand-alone unit or mounted on a wall.
