The self-sufficient marten repellent from K&K distinguishes itself by the integrated sleep mode of the activation sensors, which takes the AA batteries only on contact and "slumbers" the rest of the time. If the marten brushes past the multi-contact high voltage brush, the high voltage is triggered in a fraction of a second. This provides an extremely efficient method of defense while consuming extremely little energy. A low-battery indicator with LED also provides early warning of a "natural" age-related end of battery life. The fur-penetrating K&K +/- high-voltage brushes, are used in 4-fold design. Due to the watertight encapsulated electronics, the device can be installed especially deep in the engine compartment in the entrance area of the marten, which is particularly worthy of protection. The flexibly shiftable as well as expandable stainless steel brushes also allow an optimal adjustment to the respective engine compartment.
It is ideally suited for motorhomes, electrically powered vehicles as well as immobile vehicles with long standing times.
