Gone are the days when a battery had to be completely replaced even if only a single cell or a small electronic component failed. The housing is not glued and the individual components are not soldered or encapsulated. Cost-effective repairs and long availability of spare parts thus enable sustainable use of the product far beyond the warranty period.
The installed round cells are screwed together and can therefore be replaced individually without the need for special tools. Functional components can be reused in the event of a repair. This saves costs and resources for the consumer and the environment.
Fully-fledged lead-acid battery replacement with maximum service life
This LiFePO4 battery is a full lead-acid battery replacement with all the advantages of lithium iron phosphate technology. The storage battery has been specifically designed to fully meet the high demands placed on storage batteries today.
Highest safety and a long usability even with regular deep discharge are given here. The technology enables an extremely high cycle life, which makes this battery the optimal traction battery.
In addition, it offers a significant reduction in weight, enormous energy reserves and stable voltage even under extreme loads.
The battery is suitable to replace lead-acid batteries such as AGM or Gel one-to-one without changing the charging or discharging structure. The battery is only suitable for 12V installations. A parallel connection to increase the capacity is possible (series connection to e.g. 24V is not possible).
More energy per kilogram
The battery weighs only 5.9 kg and is particularly easy to transport. Due to the absolutely usable capacity, it replaces lead batteries with a capacity of up to 80Ah in practice despite the extremely light construction.

The battery is based on lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO4). It enables an extremely long cycle life and offers a significant reduction in weight, enormous energy reserves and stable voltage even under extreme loads.
The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) constantly monitors the status of each individual cell and protects it from overcharging, overvoltage and overtemperature, among other things. This prevents premature failure of the battery due to environmental influences or incorrect use in advance.

Bluetooth monitoring Battery status always in view
With the integrated Bluetooth 4.0 monitoring, you always have all important battery data on your smartphone or tablet at a glance. With the new LIONTRON Multi app, four batteries can be monitored simultaneously (one battery bank with up to four batteries connected in parallel). The app then displays the current state of charge, remaining capacity and charge/discharge performance of all batteries in total. Click on the battery icon to display more information about the individual battery.
To connect the battery and a smartphone / tablet, the device must support Bluetooth version 4.0.

The battery is suitable to replace lead-acid batteries such as AGM or Gel one-to-one without changing the charging or discharging structure. Due to the absolute usable capacity it replaces in practice lead batteries of the double capacity despite the extremely light construction.

Comparison to lead acid batteries
Lithium batteries are cheaper than lead batteries when the costs are considered over the period of use.
A regular deep discharge of more than 50% is not recommended for lead batteries, because the number of possible cycles decreases disproportionately. A lithium battery, on the other hand, can be regularly discharged up to 90% without any problems and without the number of cycles suffering. A 100Ah lithium battery can therefore usually replace a 200Ah lead battery.
Lead batteries lose capacity decisively after a maximum of 800 charging cycles. A LiFePO4 battery, on the other hand, easily masters 3,000 charge cycles and continues to perform well for the following 7,000 cycles.
This means that even with intensive use, a LIONTRON® Lithium battery will last at least as long as three lead batteries.
In terms of weight, a lithium battery is clearly preferable to a lead-acid battery.
A typical 100Ah lead-acid battery weighs around 32 kilograms. A lithium battery with the same capacity weighs just 14.5 kilograms. So the weight saving is more than 50%. If a 200Ah lead-acid battery is replaced with a 100Ah lithium battery, the weight saving doubles again.
