A classic winter shoe with the look of a casual shoe? The Barina Evo GTX Ws impressively demonstrates how functionally such a contradiction can be reconciled. With a shaft that extends up to the calf, a quilted collar with a fur look and numerous embossed design elements, the winter boot has a rather sporty look. While a breathable Gore-Tex Partelana membrane with wool content on the inside ensures a permanently comfortable foot climate, a robust combination of split leather and fashionably stitched canvas or tweed inserts on the outside protects against cold and wet conditions.

They are also quick and easy to put on thanks to the zipper on the side. The fit can be adjusted to individual requirements if necessary thanks to the raised lacing. All of this is rounded off by the grippy rubber outsole, which scores points with its multi-directional lug profile and sipes in the tread area.

The Barina Evo GTX Ws is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE. This is a rubber outsole designed by Lowa with an application-specific tread design made from an optimized rubber compound. The advantage of a rubber outsole is its good grip. When winter shows its best side outside, the LOWA AL-S IV is in its element. The sole shines with a winter-proof lug profile and a proven TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) compound.

Double Injection
For effective cushioning and a high level of comfort, the sole of the Barino Evo GTX Ws is bonded to the upper using a technically complex injection process. To do this, the upper shoe is placed in a specially manufactured mold. PU (polyurethane) foam is then inserted into the mold in different layers. This creates the sole, which bonds directly with the upper to form a single unit.

Support Frame
Comfortably framed. In the Barina Evo GTX Ws model, the midsole in the form of the Lowa Monowrap frame ensures optimum comfort. This is a three-dimensional midsole design developed by Lowa in 1995. This frame comfortably encloses the foot and supports it on uneven surfaces. In shoes with a support frame, the sole construction is slightly raised.

Zipper

DYNAPU

Women Last
Adapted to the anatomy of women's feet. To ensure an optimum fit, the last of the BARINA EVO GTX Ws is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
