Product description
The Petromax Rocket Stove is a highly effective source of warmth when travelling. It is ideal as a stove when hiking or camping.
With the Petromax Rocket Stove you are acquiring a highly practical, wood-burning stove. The fuel is used efficiently thanks to the chimney effect inside and the wood gasifier principle.
The air supply in this stove has been designed to provide optimum airflow, with further benefits in terms of efficiency.
The supply of air and fuel, the combustion chamber and the chimney result in an L-shaped construction for the Petromax. This is crucial for optimum combustion inside the stove.
Fuel is supplied easily and conveniently via the shelf in the front section of the stove. So wood can simply be pushed back into the combustion chamber. This gives you the best possible control over the intensity of the fire and, therefore, the heat generated. The heat generated in the combustion chamber remains limited to a small area. This means some of the wood gasifies, which ensures additional heat during combustion. The chimney effect produces a constant supply of air, which ensures clean and consistent combustion.
The body of the RF33 Rocket Stove from Petromax has double walls and thus is insulated. On the one hand, this ensures that little heat is lost from within the stove and thus more heat is available for use on the surface. At the same time, it means the outside of the Rocket Stove does not heat up too much, which reduces the risk of getting burned on the stove.
All the resulting heat rises up the chimney and is stored in the cast-iron upper section of the Rocket Stove. This is now available for cooking and can be utilised for a wide range of applications. You can simply place a pan on the Rocket Stove in the traditional manner. A coffee pot, teapot or frying pan also work wonderfully well in this way. Tip: why not try toasting marshmallows over the stove.
The Petromax Rocket Stove is sturdily constructed and easy to move thanks to the carry handle.
