Product description
A stable Internet connection is often a challenge in a motorhome or caravan. Selfsat offers three solutions (Selfsat MWR 5550 (article number: 767044), MWR 4524 (article number: 324016), MWR 4550) for WLAN coverage when travelling.
These routers can be operated via the 12-volt on-board power supply and receive WLAN or mobile network signals from outside in order to broadcast them in the vehicle as private WLAN. An external aerial ensures good reception and can pick up both Wi-Fi and mobile phone network signals.Installation is simple and the aerial is dust and waterproof. The connection to the router is established via QR codes or WLAN name and password. Operation is user-friendly and does not require a separate app.
The router supports logging on to campsite Wi-Fi with a login page (captive portal), GPS tracking of the motorhome, installation of VPNs for streaming abroad and is Starlink compatible.
