Product description
Swissinno focuses on the protection of people and their living areas, while ensuring that animals are treated in a species-appropriate manner. Sustainability and the use of new technologies such as solar cells, ultrasound or LED light enable innovations. A common nuisance is strange animals in the property. Particularly disturbing are the small and large transactions of the neighbor's dog or the neighbor's cat. Keep unwelcome animal visitors away from your property in a gentle way. The ultrasonic animal repeller PRO works against stray cats and dogs, martens, badgers, foxes, raccoons, weasels, polecats, hares, rabbits, squirrels, bats, dormice, hedgehogs, wild boars, deer, herons and other birds, to a lesser extent also against rats and mice. This animal-friendly method avoids laborious trapping or killing and is permanently effective. Large areas can be secured simply and easily. Expel animals from the entrance area, yard, garden, balcony, terrace, pond, carport, car or garbage cans. And thanks to solar operation without batteries! If an animal enters the monitoring area of the motion sensor, the device emits ultrasonic sounds and light flashes for 5 seconds or optionally an audio alarm. By triggering the audio-visual stimulus, the animals are surprised and flee. Injuries or permanent damage are therefore not to be feared. The animals are only driven away from the monitored area. In acoustic mode with alarm sound, the Ultrasonic Animal Repeller PRO can also serve as a small mobile alarm system and report two-legged troublemakers or be used against birds.

How long does the deterrent last?
How quickly animals respond to disturbance by the distributor varies. Depending on the species, it can take from a few days to a few weeks.
Not good for small animals
Solar ultrasonic animal ejectors are not well suited for very small animals such as mice and rats. These often move covertly and are only detected by the motion detector at short distances.
Birds do not perceive ultrasound
Birds basically cannot hear ultrasound and are not disturbed by it. To deter birds, do not operate the PRO ultrasonic animal repeller in acoustic mode.
Drive away moles with ultrasound?
No! Ultrasound does not penetrate the soil and does not work against moles or voles. In case of mole or vole infestation, use the Swissinno mole repeller.
What is the best way to point the device?
The sensor must be aimed at the area from which you want to drive away nuisance animals. The range is 12 m from the device, at a 120° beam angle.
Does ultrasound penetrate through walls?
No! Ultrasound does not penetrate solid objects such as walls, fences, trees, bushes and garden furniture. So position the unit so that obstacles are minimal.
Move away from other noise sources!
The unit should be positioned away from other sources of noise, such as busy roads, playgrounds, etc.
What movements can trigger the animal repeller?
Moving shadows, moving branches or blades of grass can trigger the motion detector and possibly activate the evictor unnecessarily or too frequently. If necessary, the sensitivity of the motion sensor can be reduced with the adjustment knob. Activation of the motion sensor is indicated by a green LED. This allows the correct setting of the sensor to be checked.
Is there a habit effect?
In very rare cases, the animals get used to the ejectors. In this case, the use of several ejectors or the occasional switching of the devices or alternating operation in ultrasonic or acoustic mode can help.
What else can influence the effect?
The PRO ultrasonic animal repellent is a gentle method. The animals are made uncomfortable, but not impossible, to stay in the sonicated area. Therefore, circumstances that attract unwanted animals, such as food sources or slips through should be eliminated. This device also has no effect on animals with damaged hearing. A 100% guarantee of effectiveness cannot be given.
Pets and people
Do not use the devices in close proximity to humans or pets such as mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets. Sensitive and delicate individuals may hear the ultrasonic waves emitted by the Ultrasonic Animal Repeller Pro and feel disturbed. This could also affect direct neighbors or their pets. In case of doubt, this should be clarified and discussed before purchase and installation. The Ultrasonic Animal Repeller PRO does not affect electronic devices such as pacemakers, garage door openers, remote controls and the like
How do the solar cells charge the battery?
During the day, the solar cells convert sunlight into electricity and charge the batteries. Therefore, the Ultrasonic Animal Repeller PRO is only suitable for outdoor use and must be placed in a sunny location. Shady areas, such as under trees or in the shade of a high wall of a house, could lead to insufficient charging of the batteries and shortened operating time. If the sensor flashes red, it means that the sunlight was not enough to charge the batteries. It is then necessary to remove the batteries and recharge them as described below.
Further information about the battery
It is best to charge the batteries in an ordinary battery charger before first use. If the instrument is not going to be used for a long period of time (for example, during winter break), removing them from the instrument will preserve the batteries. Charge them before putting them back in when you start using the instrument again. Do not use normal 1.5 volt batteries. This may cause damage to the electronics.
False statements about ultrasound
In internet forums there are always claims about the alleged harmfulness of ultrasound or ultrasonic animal distributors. These statements are false. The power of the devices is far from sufficient to cause damage to the health of humans and animals. Of course, the Swissinno Ultrasonic Animal Diverter PRO complies with all legal limits for ultrasonic sources.
Information on disposal
The device and the batteries used must not be disposed of with household waste, but must be disposed of in a regulated manner.

Note
Please note: since our deliveries may contain batteries (single-use and rechargeable),
according to the German Law on Batteries (BattG) we must advise you of the following:
single-use and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of along with domestic waste, but rather you are legally required to return used batteries. Used batteries may contain damaging substances which, if not stored or disposed of appropriately, may damage the environment or your health. Batteries may, however, also contain important raw materials, such as, for example, iron, zion, magnesium or nickel, which can be recycled. Once used, you may either send the batteries back to us, or return them in
your vicinity (e.g. at the shop, communal recycling points or at our expedition warehouse) - free of charge. When returning used batteries to points of sale, the quantity you are allowed to return is limited to the quantity typical for a single end user, and to those batteries which the seller offers or used to offer in their product range.
The symbol with a rubbish bin crossed out means that you must not dispose of single-use and rechargeable batteries
along with the domestic waste. Underneath this symbol you will also find the following symbols which have the following
meanings:
Pb: battery contains lead
Cd: battery contains cadmium
