Product description
Innovative and naturally made in Switzerland, they offer distinct advantages over conventional metal pegs: they are ultra-lightweight and particularly foot-friendly due to their flat profile. Their tapered shape makes them easy to hammer in, while an x-shaped cross-section with a saw-tooth profile ensures a secure hold in a wide variety of soils. The flat head compresses the ground and maximizes holding power. Notches reliably hold the tent lines in place and provide the best anchoring. Since SwissPiranha tent pegs are completely sunk into the ground at a 90° angle, the risk of injury is reduced to zero and there are no sharp edges to damage the tent fabric. Of course, discarded GreenShark pegs can be recycled again - they are even biodegradable and compostable!
The SwissPiranha GS120 is suitable for hard as well as soft grounds and can be used for small to medium tents and tarps, as well as ultra-light backpacking.

The SwissPiranha GS120 consists of 100% bio-based plastic of plant origin, is absolutely GMO-free and compostable! If this herring remains in the ground, it will biodegrade over several years - similar to a piece of wood. With a length of 12cm and 6.4g weight, this environmentally friendly tent peg is also particularly interesting for longer tents with many guy points.
