Range and brilliant image definition combined with fully digital satellite search function enable
optimum reception even on the Canary Islands, in Morocco or Greece, with numerous
German programmes As an option there is also the Oyster Digital also with fully automated
LNB skew for optimum range in south west and south east peripheral areas.
Satellite systems approved in accordance with EMC directive 89/336/EEC and motor vehicle directive 72/245/EEC.
Oyster series can be supplied with digital CI receiver, CI+ receiver or HD receiver.

Turning head technology:
- only the head turns, the antenna body is fixed

freezing in winter - space-saving installation
- Rotary axis locking when system is folded in: no swinging out of mechanical parts
Skew option:
optimal reach thanks to Skew option. To achieve the best possible reception in the peripheral regions, it makes sense to turn the receiver dish. Skew automatically detects which direction the LNB should be turned and readjusts automatically using a special motor.
Space requirement Oyster®:
For the operating radius when turning the Oyster®, space must be provided from the roof upper edge from a height of 135 mm. This means that any roof structures above this height must be located outside the specified operating radius. Objects which are lower than 135 mm from the roof upper edge can be located within the operating radius without causing any impediment.
Reception area Oyster®:
Channel examples for digital transmission via Astra 1 in Spain, Portugal, Gran Canaria, Morocco, Sicily, Sardinia, Poland and Hungary:
ARD, ZDF, RTL, SAT1, Pro7, RTL2, N3, WDR, VOX, Bayern3.
On the Canary Islands, in Greece and in Turkey the following digital channels can be received via Hotbird:
ARD, ZDF, RTL, Super RTL, RTL2, VOX, Deutsche Welle, Euro News, Bloomberg TV.
