Adapter for mounting a Thule Sport G2 Hobby bike rack on Hobby caravans from 2015 onwards
These caravans have a special rail and limited space above the rear window, which make it impossible to mount the standard Thule Sport G2 Hobby bike rack.
The adapter is a rectangular aluminum profile cut to length. To mount the bike rack, the mounting profile included with the Thule Sport G2 Hobby must be mounted upside down in the Hobby rail.
The adapter fits perfectly in the gap between the mounting rail and the vehicle. This Thule adapter is officially approved by the Hobby caravan factory. For Hobby caravans that are equipped with the Thule bike rack from Hobby Wohnwagenwerk as standard, this adapter is not needed, as there is a recess in the Hobby rail.
