Product description
The VAC-F charger series is designed for vehicle installation and meets the requirements of the FNFW in the current fire department standard DIN 14679 for charging auxiliary and starter batteries in emergency vehicles.
Votronic chargers of the "VAC F" series are characterized by their compact design, low weight (high-frequency switching power supply, switch mode technology) and full charging power even with large deviations in the mains supply (under/overvoltage, sine wave, frequency).
The intelligent microprocessor charging control with "IU1oU2oU3" charging programs (constant current - constant voltage) and dynamic charging time calculation automatically ensures fast and gentle full charging as well as subsequent 100% charge retention of the connected batteries from any initial state of charge and always enables the simultaneous supply of parallel-connected 12 V (24 V) consumers or the charging of very large batteries (depending on the charging mode). charging very large batteries (depending on the application).
The built-in charging current distributor enables the full charging current to be supplied to the main charging outputs I and II, so that the vehicle starter battery, for example, can be recharged in a short time.
