Product description
The VAC-F II charger series is designed for vehicle installation and meets the requirements of the FNFW in the current fire department standard DIN 14679 for charging auxiliary and starter batteries in emergency vehicles.
In addition, the devices are insulated in accordance with protection class II, equipped with a 2-core mains cable and do not require a protective conductor connection. Special case: For a (mains) individual installation in protection class II in the vehicle in accordance with DIN 14679 Appendix C, the device mains connection cable can simply be replaced with the heavy-duty H07RN-F 2 x 2.5 mm² prescribed in this case. The mains connection terminals are easily accessible in the device.
The intelligent microprocessor charging control with "IU1oU2oU3" charging programs (constant current - constant voltage) and dynamic charging time calculation automatically ensures fast and gentle full charging and subsequent 100% charge retention of the connected batteries from any initial state of charge and always enables the simultaneous supply of 12 V (24 V) consumers connected in parallel or the charging of very large batteries (depending on the charging time). the charging of very large batteries (depending on the application).
The built-in charging current distributor enables the full charging current to be supplied to the main charging outputs I and II, so that the vehicle starter battery, for example, can also be recharged in a short time.
