WM Aquatec complete water hygiene solution for tanks up to 100 liters consisting of UV unit / filter / water preservation

The complete water hygiene solution offers automatic water conservation, dirt and pollutant retention as well as fully automatic water disinfection with UV-C LED. The UV disinfection unit from WM aquatec is the first fully automatic water disinfection unit of its kind, especially for use in motorhomes, which switches on automatically when water is drawn off and thus guarantees hygienically perfect water worldwide!

In contrast to previous UV technology, the latest UV-C LED technology is used instead of environmentally hazardous, mercury-containing gas discharge lamps. The water to be disinfected is irradiated with short-wave UV light in the range of 240-290 nanometers. The genetic information contained in the DNA of the microorganisms adsorbs the energy of the UV-C radiation and is destroyed in the process. Viruses and bacteria can be effectively inactivated and prevented from reproducing by means of UV-C radiation. This purely physical process makes it possible to sterilize the water (up to 99.999 %) without the need for chemical disinfectants.

Automatic water preservation
The automatic preservation of the water with every new tank filling using the proven Silvertex silver ion technology in the tank keeps the water fresh and at the same time reduces germ growth and biofilm formation in the entire fresh water system.

Dirt and pollutant retention
Pollutants and flavorings are retained by adsorption on the activated carbon filter. These include, for example, pesticides, heavy metals and chlorine. At the same time, the filter with a filter fineness of 10 µm (0.01 mm) protects the downstream UV-C LED water disinfection unit from dirt and suspended particles.

UV-CLED water disinfection
The UV-C LED water disinfection unit guarantees fully automatic water disinfection in a flow-through process using innovative UV-C LED technology directly at the water outlet. No lamp change necessary. Maintenance-free, environmentally friendly and chemical-free!

Freshwater system maintenance
In addition to water conservation and water disinfection, maintenance of the fresh water system plays a key role in ensuring hygienic operation. With the (at least annual) fresh water system care, soiling such as limescale deposits (KXpress), bacteria & any biofilm (DEXDA Clean) are removed, which otherwise form a good breeding ground for growing germs. DEXDA Clean disinfectant cleaner and KXpress descaler can be used at the same time - saving time and effort.
