Camping parasol as sun protection for the beach
The parasol is the classic weather protection on the beach. A beach umbrella or bathing umbrella is quick to set up and provides sufficient shade. A camping parasol is also easy to transport. It is particularly practical that you can use parasols together with different parasol stands. Umbrella stands hold parasols on any surface
An umbrella stand with ground spike holds the beach parasol securely in soft ground, such as sand or earth. Plastic umbrella stands are available to ensure that camping parasols are also stable on stony ground. These can be weighted down by filling them with water or sand. When positioned vertically, a beach umbrella also serves as a privacy screen and thus provides more privacy on the beach. However, a parasol is only suitable as a windbreak to a limited extent. If the wind is too strong, it is better to fold up the camping parasol, otherwise it could be damaged.
Wind protection: windproof and opaque for more privacy
If you want to protect yourself from the wind, it is better to buy a suitable windbreak. A windbreak is a long sheet of windproof textile material. This is erected with poles and tensioned with guy ropes and pegs. Inflatable windbreaks are also new. In this type of windbreak, air chambers replace the steel poles. An inflatable windbreak is also ideal as a windbreak for the beach, as you don't have to carry poles to the beach. The walls of most windbreaks are largely made of opaque and easy-care polyester. A strip of transparent material is often incorporated in the upper section to let light through. The windbreak also serves as a privacy screen when camping and as a privacy screen on the beach.
