Located in the heart of Germany, the stunning Weserbergland is surrounded by forests, mountains, and rivers. Nestled in this picturesque landscape is the charming, baroque Huguenot town of Bad Karlshafen. Right where the Weser River makes a dramatic bend, you’ll find our beautiful campsite, located directly on the river and adjacent to the town of Bad Karlshafen. Over 40 years ago, the first campers set up here along the banks of the Weser. For more than 35 years, our family—the Mietzner family—has been proudly running this campsite with passion and joy.

Our site offers approximately 300 pitches for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. About one-third of the total area is reserved for our permanent campers, leaving plenty of spaces for holidaymakers with various categories to choose from (e.g., waterfront sites, comfort sites, XL sites). Arrive, unwind, and enjoy more space and comfort in our mobile homes! We offer 5 fully equipped mobile homes for rent, located directly on the campsite. Our facilities include well-maintained, modern sanitary amenities, a children’s playground, a pool area, and plenty of drinking water stations. We also have a camping store, bakery, and gas bottle exchange service.

Recently, we’ve introduced the innovative "Camping Butler." This cleaning machine thoroughly cleans your cassette inside and out, and if you'd like, it can also fill your cassette with sanitary additives. Our site also features e-bike charging stations, service tools, bicycle garages, and electric vehicle charging stations, ensuring all your needs are met.

We are deeply committed to environmental sustainability. Situated in the heart of nature, we continually strive to be environmentally conscious. To that end, we have made significant investments in eco-friendly initiatives. For several years now, we have been providing green electricity, and our hot water and heating systems have been converted to solar energy.

Being situated on the German Fairy Tale Road, there are many nearby attractions that can be explored by bike or car.
